I thought that the premise outlined in the first few chapters would not be something that I enjoyed but actually this book grew on me quite a lot. It was pure escapism and Lady Rebecca was a really wonderful character to lead the way

shipwreck brings choices On her way to a marriage arranged by her brother, Lady Rebecca Pierce finds a governess who looks just like her. On the ship they're bored and they swap clothing. When the ship sinks she takes the opportunity to change her life by taking on the governess post her "twin" was heading to but she finds that the brooding Lord Brookmore, whose two nieces she's in charge of. They both find that their attraction is making them think about their choices in life and the people around them.
The romance went very well and the people interfering with the romance were well and truly lazily evil.
Very enjoyable.
