Fine. It’s have been better did it was shorter. It was funny, but I got bored halfway.

I am not really into detective/mystery books at all, so a lot of my lack of enthusiasm came from the genre rather than something bothering me.

This is male romantasy tbh, and I totally get why a lot of people were bothered by that. But there’s genuinely great well rounded female characters and as long as you aren’t bothered by the protagonist being a hot blooded guy who notices boobs way too much it shouldn’t be a problem. There’s so many female centered romantasy books that this was kinda a breath of fresh air from what that looks like from another side.

The book feels episodic compared to most novels, and at first I found it a bit jarring when we would jump from situation to situation. But as soon as I thought of it more like tv episodes in a season the flow became muuuuuch easier.

Really funny book though, it’s kind of a bummer I wasn’t crazy into this

Cute popcorn mystery book
