I came across this book while I was searching for alien smut. I am embarrassed by how far into the novel I read before it occurred to me that no alien smut was going to happen.
Fortunately, by the time I realized that, it was too late: I was invested. I needed to know where this was going and I was truly enchanted by the characters and their struggles.
Weightless beautifully captures a period of transition and growth. Does it suffer from romanticism? Sure, but I was also a romantic young adult and therefore Weightless 'hit the nail on the head' for me.
How I stumble on this book while looking for some guilty pleasure alien hotness will forever remain a mystery to me, but I'm glad I stumbled on over and got to meet Nat and Rhodes. They charmed the heck out of me and I'm better off for having met them :)

Took a break from this to start another book and I gotta say...I'm not going to be broken up if I never find out what happens to the characters. DNF @ 45%

Enjoyed it

This book had me grinning like a mad woman all the time haha I only had a few complaints about the book. One: Rhodes running away and being a little bitch and treating Natalie like crap. Two: a promise ring? Really? How are you not ready to just get engaged. I always just see that as people keeping one foot out the door. Especially when you’re a couple years deep into a relationship. If after a few years you’re somehow still not ready to say you want to spend the rest of your life with me, you’re just wasting my damn time at that point.

I read this back in March 2023 and rated it 5 stars!

I constantly find myself thinking of their story. The way helped her in such a positive light as she was overcoming body image thoughts. Her story made me want to get up and run to the gym to find me an A+ sexy trainer LOL.

Steiner as always has a way with words. She managed to make a story about weight-loss in the most powerfully uplifting way. It was tastefully done. The added romance and the turmoils she faced in her home added that something extra that made me add the physical copy to my shelf immediately!

She falls in love with her PT. He’s a guy with baggage and sleeps with his clients to make money to try and find his long lost twin who went missing.
I didn’t like the mystery or how everything was connected.
The chemistry was ok but a bit cheesy.
I didn’t like Mason one bit lol
I didn’t like Rhodes that much either lol

Quotes:
When he’s leaning against his bike in the moonlight… “His eyes lifted slowly to mine when I stopped in front of him.
"Can I take you somewhere?"” *swoon*

And maybe that's the thing about weight - though it hurts when we feel its added pressure on our lives, it only makes us stronger in the end.

This book will connect with a lot of people. The issues that Natalie faces are unfortunately a familiar set for many.

Natalie has just be unceremoniously dumped by her 2 year boyfriend and very good friend. Not only did he kick her to the curb, but he has a much skinnier version as his new sidekick. Skinnier and bitchier.

At a very low point in her life Natalie makes a rash decision that becomes one of the greatest of her life. Now she just needs to follow through and go to the gym.

When she does she meets her trainer who will have a very large impact on her waistline, her confidence, and her future.

It's a struggle for confidence. It's hard to fight the mean girls. Nat is learning more and more about herself and those she calls friends. Too bad what she's learning about them isn't exactly confidence boosting.

Rhodes, her trainer, is teaching her to value herself. She is getting there but she's falling faster for the gorgeous, brooding man. His life is no picnic and they live on opposite sides of the tracks. He can't let her in, she won't stop pushing.

It can only end in disaster...but for who?

The idea behind the title gave me goose bumps. I'm not being corny or dramatic, it honestly made me uncomfortable and happy at the same time. It wasn't the only time either. It's an incredible story and I'm glad I had the opportunity to read it.

LOVED this book

When I first started this book, I didn’t care for it. I thought it was about a girl who hated herself and was just going to be some sob story. I deleted it, but then I ended up coming back to it, and I am so happy that I did. This book is all about growth and finding yourself. It is about love and loving you for who you are. I am so happy that I gave this book another try. There were so many things that I could relate with and that I understood. This book brought me so much insight and made me understand myself more. It helped me understand myself and love myself even more too. All I can say is give it a try and you will love it even if you can’t relate to it.
