I read this book over the course of 2023, reading a different devotional every day. The devotions are short but packed with lots of things to think about during the upcoming day.

It can be hard to stick to the habit of reading a devotion every day, and I fell out of this multiple times, but it is worth sticking at.

For those who have read Nicky Gumbel's Bible On One Year, some of the stories will be familiar. As a close friend of Bear Grylls, he has clearly had some influence in the writing of the book. This makes it a great companion.

Bear Grylls gives a book of devotions set out in differing categories. Most of them are very good, occasionally they veer into a little more prosperity area, and quoting Joyce Meyers doesn't help. Still very good for what it is, and people could if they wished read these over most of the course of a year.
