Even better than the series' first book. It manages to expand in all directions without becoming diluted.

Awesome

Great read, lots of action, lots of character depth, and (spoiler but not a spoiler) the dog doesn’t really die. Read on kindle unlimited then bought a copy so I can keep it.

This is book two of the [b:Zone War|41573143|Zone War (Zone War, #1)|John Conroe|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1540549976l/41573143._SY75_.jpg|64882980] series and it picks up right where the first book left off. My advice would be to read these close together as there is not much “review” of what happened in the first. I mean there is some review and it’s spread around here and there, but me as a distracted and lazy reader, I like to know much of it up front.

Either way, it was just as fun as the first book! I’m ready for the next one.

Same great narrator. I wish his female voices were just a tad bit different. Otherwise, he’s perfect!

This is a fun series. Conroe can sometimes be a bit heavy handed on the gun porn but the story really is made for it. That said Conroe manages to incorporate a lot of it without often falling into sounding like a spec sheet.

He's also very good at making Gary Stu and Mary Sue characters likeable and relatable. Zone War is no exception.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this one pans out. It seems that, although it's supposed to be a trilogy, this story could continue beyond 3 entries.
