Omg, this was a fantastic read! Absolutely gutted me in the best possible way, and definitely made it on my list of favorite horror. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys southern gothic horror. Michael McDowell is a master of the genre!

My gosh this was so great, the foreboding feeling started right from the get go and everytime things was eased I was mercilessly hit with a scene straight out of a nightmare. 
I never once got bored!
