This is the 28th book in the Stephanie Plum series and Janet Evanovich did not disappoint us. Diesel and Wulf make an appearance in this book. It has been a few years since we have read about them. Stephanie dad breaks character and her mom takes up knitting. Over all it was a quick read with comic events. I am wondering though if this series is going to ever have an end. It's the same in every book just different names and events with the end result the same.

Another bowl of popcorn. Still a cute diversion even if it is a bit stale. Not really liking the Diesel relationship. Not very believable. Must be an attempt to rest the Steph/Ranger stuff as that was really stale and the Steph/Morelli bit is just boring. It must be difficult to come up with believable situations for Lula and Stephanie to become involved with

I could copy and paste this review from the last 10 books.

You will get a good story, solve a mystery, and Stephanie will be undecided about the men in the books.

It was nice to have a visit from Diesel.

I mean I keep reading/listening to this series because the characters are just wonderful. It has been a long time since I started the series so I am still not sure what Diesel's part was but honestly, Stephanie does not need another man in the mix. The only thing I wish would start becoming cemented is her love life. I would really like to see it come together for her and her life not being a hot mess. After 28 books of her struggling with feeling stuck and not progessing with her relationship and job, it gets aggravating and redundant.
