This one wasn't as bad as the last few. I chuckled a few times. The story line was more interesting.

I used to chuckle when she blew up one of Rangers cars or when she flip flopped between men. But after 28 books of the same thing.....

Honestly the Stephanie plum antics are getting a little old. Would be nice to see her grow up and mature a bit.
For my first Stephanie Plumb book, I liked it.
I already had a base knowledge of the characters because I’ve seen the film from a while ago, but it was nice to get the original tone and feel of the book that inspired them.
The story was interesting, the characters were fun and I liked the easy to read style and flow.
Personal dislike was the constant new age references that Lulu makes, but she was a great character so I forgave it.

Moderate: Violence
Minor: Sexual content
Definitely one of the better ones. (And if you, like me, play "Stephanie Plum bingo", you'll fill your card!)
Stephanie and Lula are in fine swing, and finally seem to have figured out the investigator thing. And the plot seems to be moving forward, not circling.

A decent, quick read if you’re familiar with the Stephanie Plum series. Better than the last few books, but not sure it would translate well as a stand alone.
