I fell for the hype on instagram, and eh. It wasn't for me.

I was expecting something more thrilling or haunting. Four friends are invited to spend the weekend at the chateau where two of the girls grew up. Most of the story is spent on their relationship dynamics.

This hit just about the same as Bad Summer People and She Started It.

The chateau belongs to Darcy's grandmother who has ominously requested their presence to reveal some secrets she has been harboring for years. The morning for the scheduled meeting, the grandmother is found dead in her bed.

Now, the women need to figure out who among them is the murderer before another person gets hurt.

This book was very very slow and so many characters were introduced that I couldn't keep track! The writing did not flow well and came across as cheesy and forced.
