The amount of arguing back and forth is nauseating, we get it, you don’t think you’re “his”. I realize that a lot of situations like this wouldn’t happen in real life - but the baby thing? Nah fam. Declan just steam rolls over her every thought and protest. The only reason it got two stars was for decent spice.

I enjoyed this story, it was easy to read and I'd definitely have finished it sooner if life didn't get in the way!
I should have known from the name of the book what was going to happen but I didn't see it coming at the moment it happened. I did however guess the stipulation in the will!
I liked getting to know all the characters throughout the story. Some to love and some to hate. It was easy to feel a connection and root for Evie when you learned about her past.
The chapters were a good length not too long and the story flowed with ease.
This is the first book I've read by this author and the first in a series and I'm looking forward to the rest!

Immediate cringe and couldn’t get over it. Her estranged dad’s (who sj: basically only known for 2 months since he left when she wS 6$ business partner coming to force her to leave a party because her dad didn’t want her there even though she doesn’t really know the partner? And apparently this was the 2nd time it happened in the 2 months. Weird and ew.
