the first 50% was amazing but the last 50% I was like.....whats going on. so much happened and I didn't think it needed to happen.
omg fun read. to be fair, this was quite good and i read it in one sitting. it had angst, and a solid dynamic between the two main characters. however, i think the push and pull was too much sometimes, and i just wanted a scene without chaos. something just sweet like the final chapters. anyway, fun read hehehehe. perhaps i'll be out of my reading slump now

I went into this one not having even read the blurb, which is unusual for me, but i was suckered in by the pretty cover, and the fact it was 3 quid in The Works.
Everly moves to be closer to the estranged dad, and when he dies suddenly, she finds herself in a marriage of convenience with her kind of enemy Declan.
I will start by saying if you dont like spice, then maybe give this one a miss. It starts from about ch3 and doesn't really let up that much. The storyline kept me interested, although it got a bit ridiculous towards the end, and I enjoyed the back and forth between the couple.
The side characters were good and the books sets things up nicely for the next in the series.
