Four great reflections on lost love. While I wasn't blown away by each story as I read them, they all lingered in me which for me is a hallmark of a good read. I look forward to more translated works by Mr. Torrente.

An odd, distant collection of stories about relationships, perceptions, and the end of love for various reasons. I liked the last two stories best, as the other ones were too obscure. I always have trouble reading stories that involve places I've never been without some more context. I have no idea what Spain looks like, but that's my issue, not the author's.
