Satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, very intense and exciting but coming to a good ending. I still think some of their decisions are idiotic, as in who didn't see that coming, but overall I liked this book and the whole trilogy

It had been so long since I read the second book in this series that I was a little confused about who was who and what was what. I decided to just jump in, though, and there was enough new action that I didn’t spend much time thinking about how they got here and concentrated on finding out how they would survive and beat the bad guys.
The battles are vividly gory. The magic is vibrant. The bad guys are super scary.
