I don’t know about this one. I think she just needed a better editor? There were parts I really enjoyed, but it was just so long.

honestly I did really like this but the only thing that got me was how long it was lol. like I liked how each chapter was in kind of episodes and like it was snapshots of different stories and people but sometimes I just skim read certain chapters to get to other ones. other then that I really liked rhe concept behind this and it really made me think about like therapy and psychology and tbh myself and my own experience with therapy and all of that in a different and kind of more open minded way. like I think it really made me think about some stuff about myself and how a lot of the basic psychology stuff she was talking about really applied to me. I do feel like because she talked about so much psychological stuff so quickly it almost meant I didn’t fully have time to digest and truly think about some of the stuff she was saying but it was still interesting. This book also made me really consider like the fact that you never rlly know what other people are going thru and like the amount that goes on in peoples heads. also the ending was so sad but also so satisfying like the way all the characters stories left off i was very happy with but i also did shed a tear especially at like Julie and John because i really felt like i got to know them as characters.

I’m finally out of my reading slump! I have been struggling to get into any book for nearly a month but I finally connected with this one. I loved the authenticity and the range of stories being told. Really loved it
