funny lighthearted fast-paced

I had a high expectations for Brent’s book, and this partially delivered.

brent was exactly how I imagined, a golden retriever boy with some emotional intelligence.

kennedy wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. the woman with trust issues isn’t my favorite trope.

the plot was very fast paced, but I already expected that from emma chase. I liked that the relationship conflicts weren’t too drown out and that they communicated with each other.

overall it was an okay read, it didn’t hold a candle to sustained, but o also didn’t expect it to.

loved the cameos from the previous couples!

Even though I only started this series to read this book, it is actually my least favorite so far, but I still liked a lot so that's fine.

This was so good.
I loved Brent from the very first moment; his way of speaking his mind and just his way to ooze sensuality. I loved their background story as well; and I completely understood Kennedy's reluctance to pursue a relationship with Brent.
However, I think that they reconciled way too quickly and easily. I would have loved a bit more angst before they got together. I felt the same way towards the end, the issue was resolved way too quickly and, honestly, I wanted more difficulties before they reconciled again.
I liked the smutty scenes; but I would have liked many more. I guess the lenght of the book didn't allow it, but they would have been appreciated.

I loved Brent!!! I think he was the most like Drew Evans and I know much we all loved Drew and his dirty talk!!!

I really liked this story. I felt that Kennedy really deserved the bestest of endings because of what she'd been through and I love how Brent stepped up to the plate once he realized what he wanted!

Great humour and I'm so happy I decided to finish this series! :)

Amazing 'childhood friends turned lovers'!
Although there was a gap of 14 years.

This book was quite short , which I actually loved because I think any more longer and it would get dragging. It was perfectly paced and cute.

I loved Brent! *Sigh* I think Jake and Brent are two of my favorites in this series. And as for Stanton...I'm sorry but I simply LOVED Sofia. Out of all the characters in the book she's the one in loved the most. I don't what it is about her but her character really gets to me and just connected with her. I think her character was beautifully done. I loved her appearance in all the three books!

Anyways, it's sad to see this series end. I hope to read more books from this author soon! She writes amazing work romances and I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve next.

Pick this up if you're looking for a short, cute, light (but with emotional baggage) kind of romantic tale, of childhood lovers who are separated due to a misunderstanding and reunite by fate (or so we think)!

I freakin adored this book.

Kennedy and Brent are sweet and ridiculous and the two of them fight like they've been together their whole lives. This was a great finish to this series and loved this book.

I LOVE this series! Second chance romances are my favorite! As with it's predecessors, Overruled and Sustained, this was a delicious blend of sexy, sweet, and emotional. And that extended epilogue...*ALL THE FEELS* Read it.

Solid read! Enjoyed
