Nina & Ian

This is the newest in this series of books by an amazing author.
Nina is a young woman traveling to England for her Master's degree. There is just one problem, she has to get on a plane to do it. She hates flying.
Ian is traveling back to England for his job. He is the lucky one that gets to sit with her. When they land, he helps her get her luggage before sharing a cab.
These two have as some hot chemistry, there is just one little problem. Nina is terrified of turning into her sisters, giving up her dreams and letting a man take over her life.
The question becomes will Nina be able to open herself to Ian? Will she admit how she feels? Will Ian be able to love and support her and her dreams? Will Nina admit to how she feels and what she wants?

GIVEAWAY OVER
Big Love Abroad
Big Love Abroad by Jasinda Wilder
Contemporary Erotic Romance. Full length, complete standalone, can be read as #11 in the Big Girls/Rock Stars Do It Series
As much as I love Jasinda Wilder's writing, I haven't read all of her books. In fact, I haven't read beyond book 2 in the Big Girls Series. Since I'm OCD about never reading a series out of order, I probably wouldn't have read  Big Love Abroad if Jasinda hadn't told me herself that it is completely different characters. If there was any crossover (beyond the cover) between the Big Girls/Rock Star books and Big Love Abroad, I never felt or noticed that I was missing anything.

I absolutely LOVED Big Love Abroad. At first, I must admit, I was a little disappointed that the lead character, Nina, wasn't even plus sized, just very curvy. But I like that weight wasn't a huge issue in the book except for how her insecurities about her curves pop up, which exists for most women, plus sized or average.
QUOTE MARKI was aware that my body shape wasn’t what the average guy wanted. I was five-four— barely— and my weight fluctuated between one-forty and one-fifty, my curves centered on my hips, ass, and tits. If a guy liked his girls ultra-curvy, I was his type; I was all curves. I wasn’t overweight or out of shape, though."

Though Nina was pretty comfortable in her skin, she had some hang-ups that were very relatable.
QUOTE MARKI wanted a guy to be interested in me. In who I was. I wanted a guy to like me and to be attracted to me, not just despite my body-shape, but for it."

Nina and Ian meet on the plane from the US to England. Nina is going to get her masters at Oxford in English Lit, and Ian is moving home after a breakup with his US girlfriend. Ian is big, commanding, and gorgeous, and Nina is a curvy Latina type, and their connection was palpable. They chatted during the whole long flight, and it was enough to know there was something more there.

So he invited her out to meet his closest friends, the ones he hasn't seen in a year. The affection Ian showed Nina was effortless, and he quickly made his intentions very clear.
QUOTE MARKI’d like very, very much to get you naked and have lots and lots of hot, and possibly rather kinky sex with you. This is a spacious flat. I can think of at least a half-dozen places I’d like to fuck you up against, and that’s just what I can see from where I’m sitting."

Big Love

Jasinda writes AMAZING and LONG sex scenes. Usually they are very intense and lovey-dovey. But in Big Love Abroad, Jasinda stepped the sex up a notch and made it a little dirtier, and holy hell, it was H-O-T! I actually had to stop reading for a day until Mr. Ana was available to hmmmm...'help' with my reading.

There was a fairly big angsty part of the book that made me angry with both Nina and Jasinda, but I think it added a lot of realism, and made the ending even better.

Big Love Abroad

Likes:
  • •A light, sexy, happy read.

  • •A relatable heroine.

  • •A heroine with slight body confidence issues.

  • •The angst that added realism and more super hot scenes.

  • •I loved Lucas's literary description of Fifty Shades.

  • •Holy Hot Sex!!!

  • •That it completely stands alone.

  • •I freaking LOVED Ian.

  • •That Jasinda made the sex a little dirtier than previous books.

  • Dislikes:
  • •I would have liked if this "Big Girl" were a bit bigger.

  • •I hate that it's listed as part of a series though it completely stands alone. It's kicking my OCD up a notch.

    The Down and Dirty
Big Love Abroad was a perfect vacation read for me. It was a perfect combination of sexiness, dirtiness and romance, mixed with just the right amount of angst. It's one of those guilty pleasures you lap up like ice cream. I'm surprised this book isn't the big talk of the town, because it's just that good. If you like stories about Americans in London, stories with tons of hot and a little dirty sex, stories with angst and romance, and did I say super-hot sex? You have found it. It is NOT necessary to have read ANY of the other books in the series before.

This series is what got me addicted to Jasinda Wilder's books!

This book can be read as a standalone

but I HIGHLY suggest that you read this whole series!

Once you start, you will fall in love with hot, sexy, funny characters Jasinda has created!

Best part, is the main characters are real woman with curves! No unrealistic bodies & woman who have real insecurities we can all relate to!

Okay so this book I devoured in a couple of hours.  I loved it from beginning to end.

We get new characters Nina & Ian!

Ian is a new book boyfriend with a Brit accent to obsess over!  Seriously he couldn't be any more hotter!  Nina is one lucky lady!

Loved how hot their chemistry with each other was from the moment they met on the plane to the end of their story.

Ian & Nina's story is based in London with its love, kinky hot sex, new adventures, drama, insecurities.   I was totally rocked hard reading this book.

Jasinda knows how to setup and get us emotionally attached to her characters.   I also loved how Jasinda mentioned quite a few Literary references through out the book.  I am an English Major so I totally giggled & smiled BIG when I noticed the references.   And of course, always humor in her books!  I LOL at the sarcastic banter back and forth with Nina & Ian.

Get this book!  It is a fantastic read!

I absolutely loved this book! This book popped my Jasinda Wilder cherry and I couldn't be happier! I totally loved the connection Nina and Ian had. The connection and chemistry was unmistakable. I'm also a sucker for a British accent, and well anything British :) but damn Ian Stirling....I'll take him any day! With everything that happened between them, he refused to give up, refused to let anything get in their way. Wonderful book! Recommend to anyone and everyone!
