It was difficult to get through the story. I understood at the end what the author was going for, but there was a lot of time spent going in circles.
This book followed the lives of two successful women and how their lives intertwined through their love lives. Anne Wiley, a successful surgeon experiences losing her first patient and state attorney, Paula Fuselier is looking for her defining case and to take what or who she thinks she deserves. The story gave me a strong dislike for multiple characters and the end had me wishing the story continued. I am hoping for a sequel!
