The twist did get me but it was a tad too wordy, a little rushed, and lacked character development. Fun, quick read, not awful.

Idk what to even say about this book. There are different povs in the book and I got super confused while reading it cause I didn’t realize at first it was jumping from person to person. She never “murdered” anyone in my opinion so that is super misleading. Idk. Just couldn’t get into it. Couldn’t bring myself to finish the book the characters were just. Really annoying.

Although this book is not even 300 pages long, it took me 20 days to finish it. I had really high hopes for it. I think my current rating is a result of being a mood reader and not being in the mood for this read (possibly?). I'm stubborn, though, and pushed through it to finish the book.

Fundamentally, it has many components to warrant a higher rating:
- Early on in the story, you learn who did what to whom, and slowly, you learn why. Yet, there's still a nagging question related to the event that remains unanswered most of the book.
- There's a subplot that adds additional conflicts to the main plot.
- Additionally, there are twists and turns near the end, as well as an ominous ending.

The story was a bit of a slow burn. The twists and turns were enjoyable and surprising. Overall, I was a bit disengaged with the book. Again, this is a ME issue, not the book. I recognize the elements of the story that got this book the higher rated reviews and hype I've seen.

I'll revisit this one at a later time and update my rating accordingly.

Gostei tanto deste livro, os capítulos são pequenos o que permite uma leitura muito mais fluida.

Adorei esta versão de thriller mais soft com bastantes termos médicos, cativou-me muito mais a leitura.
