I received this book as a lovely gift from my sister- a blind date with a book box with cute little goodies. I was so excited to read it! And honestly, it kept me hooked. It felt like a Freida McFadden book but with better writing. The only thing was the character Paula very suddenly became VERY annoying. But we do find out why she was that way at the end. Great plot twist and left you on a nice note.
Most of the book was pretty slow but the end was really good and fast! I hope there's a second book!

Ridiculous. The main character is book smart but street dumb. The plot did not need to take 275 to finish. It was dragged out and unrealistic.
TRIGGER WARNING …this book discusses r*pe, child ab*se and s*xual a$$ault. This book was so bad. It’s poorly written. There were a few little twists but it’s still not worthy of a beach read.

Now that is a good thriller slash murder mystery. It was quite short, but overall easy and interesting read. I didn't expect that ending at all.
The story was so genuine, interesting and diverse. So many surprises and unexpected actions, in the present and in the past.
This book made me search for other books from the same author, so next to my usual fantasy books you can now find me reading Leslie Wolfe.
