I don't like how insecure the MC is with everyone thru the whole book. No character development, confusing love interest for plot purpose, a sister plot to only justify every terrible choice of MC, overall, not my style.

More like a 3.75 but not a 4 because the best of this book is in like the last 200 pages but I AM MAD about the ending and immediately picking up book 2

Not at all what I was expecting. Though I did know she would end up with the wrong man.

A pretty standard novel in the fae-centric fantasy style. It doesn't really bring anything new to the sub-genre, but it held my attention and I enjoyed it, even though I saw some of the plot twists coming. Overall, a fun, good read.

Everything a fantasy romance should be. Loved this escapism.
