This was the classic slow burn & miscommunication trope for a majority of the book, but in a good way. My first mafia romance I’ve read so I don’t have much to base it on, but I thought it was a good read. I do think the spicy scenes could have been… spicier… considering he is in the mafia.

There just literally wasn’t a plot to it, and it felt so bland and boring. I didn’t love the writing either. It was very difficult to follow and I just didn’t seem to have it in me to read almost 300 pages just to finish it when I know they get together in the end. So I wouldn’t recommend this book to people. Especially when it has SO MUCH hype around it. Cmon now

This is the worst book I've ever read.
