This omnibus collects Tales of the Mysterious Traveler 1-5. This is in the early days of the comics code so the horror element is subdued. The stories feel more like Twilight Zone or Outer Limits than Tales from the Crypt. The Steve Ditko art has me bumping up the rating to 3 stars.

I did like the Mysterious Traveler himself, though. He's the host character, a man in a fedora and overcoat that stays in the shadows. Sometimes, he narrates the adventures, sometimes he's featured as an observer to the events, and sometimes he nudges things in the right direction. He reminds me of The Phantom Stranger in some ways.
