I read Dianna Roman's book The Shutout first, and loved it so much. She was a new author to me, so I immediately jumped to this one after and ugh, disappointed. Johnny is completely annoying and really not likable at all. It felt like it took a long time to figure out what his real trauma was and why he was refusing to let Aiden in. This story just had way too much internal dialogue and angst for me. Aiden on the other hand -- sweetest man ever. Lovable in every way - perfect Bi brick layer with a great family. (To the point of being a bit much) I never really understood what Aiden saw in Johnny.  It was a fairly long book for such a simple story, but then it suddenly wrapped up really quick
when Aiden was hopping a plane to Mykonos. Huh?
This story had a lot of potential, and if you like a lot of angst and internal struggle then this might be a good read for you! however, not my jam. I will read other Dianna Roman, but probably not the second book in this Men of Olympus series.

This book has it all... Funny moments, sad moments and amazing writing.
Johnny and Aiden keep getting matched on dating apps. One of them is looking for a partner, the other just wants to get his family off his back.
Due to past experience Johnny is adamant about not falling in love... well...
There are hilarious moments that left me crying of laughter but also heartbreaking moments that left me wanting to wrap those two cuties up in a blanket.
Dianna writes those characters so realistically, their pain, their hope and happiness so palpable...
I really enjoyed this book very much and I'm looking forward to reading more stories about those amazing characters we met in this book.

I received an ARC by the author and this is my honest opinion.

This is the second book I've read by this author, and she writes really well and gives a great story. I loved the characters and the way life kept throwing them together. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

Rather adorable funny MM romance about finding love after betrayal and having your self confidence knocked badly.

The characters were well written and likeable and it was laugh out loud funny.

Gay and bisexual main characters with other gay and lesbian secondary characters.

I appreciated that it tackled aspects of biphobia and bi-erasure but felt a little bit more attention to this, having brought it in, would have made it 5*.

Thrilling and captivating

A swoony, funny and tension till the end romance. The entire ensemble of characters is worth giving this book a shot.

This is 2 for 2 Dianna Roman MM books that I have inhaled and loved!

This was such a sweet and salty story. I just wanted to sit down and read the entire thing in one sitting (almost did too!). I violently laughed out loud at some parts, I relate so much to Johnny and it felt amazing to see him get his HEA. Aiden has that boy-next-door, stong-man vibe I love to see. I only wish I could have seen what the last conversation between Sam and Aiden was and that there were more interactions with Dalton!! Love the golden retriever energy of this book. The mishaps, coincidences, allergies, and progressions. Ugh so sweet so cute.

Part way through this book I was already anxiously hopefully to see if Dami has a book planned!! I can't wait to see what else comes from this potential series!

I received an ARC for my honest review
