Thank you to booksirens and publishers for the eARC

Heroics is the second book to Villainous.

I loved Villainous and our main characters Sol and Jericho, so I had to find out what happened next for them.

The setting of this novel seemed more quick paced compared to the first novel. It had a darker feel to it and the development was great. The twists and turns were surprising and any questions I had felt answered in this conclusion. The ending was great but felt fast paced and rushed, However that could have been me feeling overwhelmed with it ending.

I really enjoyed falling back into the story with J and Sol.

I wasn't expecting what will happen in this book when I was beginning it at all. And the first half of it was giving more similar vibes to the first book (Villainous - 5 star) so I loved it but it turned way too darker in the second half. Let me say that first, I loved both fluffy and darker parts of this series and the diversity of the characters, the world-building, writing style, character development, etc. I still think everything is soo captivating and cool BUT the ending... well, I don't say I'm disappointed with how the ending turned out, I'm just saying everything happened soo fast towards the end.
what happened to the children, how they saved them, how Sol survived exactly, they said if we kill White Rabbit there will be just another leader then they should get rid of the whole organization but as far as I understand there were no plan or anything about it, they didn't even say there is an organization doing these shits in public, oh and also I thought Oakfur sacrificed himself and died but seemingly he is alive but in a wheelchair, how?? what happened there?? I cannot remember the name of the character but the one who swaps books with Sol when he was staying with the White Rabbit, what happened to him? died or just another prisoner with his brother... I think these questions are A LOT for an ending book in a series, well if there will be another book I'm definitely reading that one too for just the sake of J and Sol but I want to know the answers too.
I'm gonna miss Sol and J <3
