I flew through this series! Loved the x-men vibes and friendships between the characters. It kept me guessing throughout, so many twists and turns! I would’ve liked a little more romance/relationship building.
This book was absolutely riveting from the very beginning to the end, with twists that came entirely unexpected. The plot was clearly so original and well thought out that it made for such an enjoyable read, leaving the reader desperate to read more as the story unfolds.

Continuation of the story was great.
Blindsided but at the same time knew it in my bones!
There was a lot of internal dialogue and processing (sometimes of things that had already occurred… like we were rehashing things we had already not just witnessed but thought about as the reader) which was frustrating at times. A good deal of this book could easily be skimmed unlike the first one where everything was essential and riveting.
Happy with it overall though.
