Enjoyable and engaging. I wasn't a big fan of the narrating character and that didn't change by the end of the book, but I still enjoyed the story. Easy, comfortable read, great for vacation. I like Tracy brogan a lot.

Another cute book in the series!

This story was an independent story from the first one, but it includes a lot of the characters from for first novel in the series. It was a cute and easy beach type of summer reading book and I enjoyed it!

Again, I needed a light summer read and found it in Tracy Brogan's second in the series. Good writing, nice romance. Not what I would normally pick up by any means, but I enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind reading more when I need a "refresher" between non-fiction or denser fiction.

When Evelyn turns 35 she smashes right into the ticking time bomb that is her womb. With the help of her two closest friends and aided by a list of attributes the perfect guy should have she embarks on a quest to find the perfect husband. But her first few dates are almost enough to turn her lesbian.

When Tyler lands in the Emergency Department after an accident on a stolen Jet-ski she feels an immediate twinge in the pants department...but on her perfect match meter he rates an absolute zero. Adding to his dismal prospects, he's 10 years younger than her. But the pants will want what the pants will want.

The Best Medicine is pretty damned classy contemporary romance. Those of us who read a lot of the genre can recognise a trope from a mile away, but Tracy Brogan has delivered a surprisingly refreshing story about two people from different worlds who despite their differences are still attracted to each other. It's an entertaining and upbeat story, and a great book to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Many thanks to Montlake Romance and Netgalley for providing me with this ARC

Awww... What a sweet book. I absolutely adore Tracy Brogan's sense of humor. I'm looking forward to reading lots more of her books. Thanks for the recommendation Karen Fleming! This was a great way to start off the New Year. ;-)

Wonderful

Just as page turning as “crazy little thing” loved every twist and turn along the way and the ending was perfect

Audiobook worth the listen!

Cute story with strong characters. Can be read as a stand alone, but makes more sense when read as book 2 in the series.
Love the narration!!!

I skipped whole chapters because it got too frustrating. Evie is a snob. She obviously has chemistry with Tyler, but because he's (first) unemployed, then only a dog walker, then "just" an EMT, she won't even entertain having a relationship with him because what would people think?

And then she started to get really annoying and I had to wonder if she had ever had human interaction before. Her most important attribute in a mate is "financial equality"? WTF?? It was this robotic "I'm an android and am unfamiliar with these human feelings you speak of" bullshit that turned me off the TV show "Bones".

I think I'm done with this series.
