This book was not at all what I expected, but it was exactly what I needed. A very engaging and thought provoking story that had me gripped if not from page 1 then from chapter 2.

I wouldn’t say I enjoyed the book exactly- it was sad and challenging to learn about the Sour Coup and see the death of characters coming but be unable to turn away - but I learned a lot and the character was powerful 
A bit of suspension of disbelief that characters met again
