A hodgepodge of tropes that I love <3 a ridiculous amount of fluff that had me smiling widely the entire time.

I really enjoy Julia Quinn's novels. What more could you want from a romance than one party falling deathly ill and the other rushing to their side despite all impropriety?

uh...duh! five stars. I'm surprised that you even have to ask!

I enjoyed it alright. To me it was nothing too special. I am also not the biggest fan of friends to lovers, so that might have had something to do with the rating. I also found some of the side characters very annoying and whenever they were on page it brought it down for me (Daisy and Mrs. Royle in particular).

I did think the romance between Honoria and Marcus was cute though and I would definitely recommend this to people who like some of Julia's other works.
