WHY IS IT LEFT UP IN THE AIR I KNEW THAT THE SHOOTING WAS COMING AND YET I GOT EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED WITH THE CHARACTERS AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM

i dont like open endings bruh where i cant even begin to predict. but yes the multiple POVS worked so well in this story compared to some of the other stories i read this year. the writing was good also but I am not entirely sure i liked how they handled one of the storylines tbh..

This was an excellent read with a devastating ending. 

I think I would have a tough time appreciating and keeping track of all the interwoven stories and characters if I had read this over a long span of time/small bits at a time or as an audiobook.

Orange pulls no punches in sharing what I can only imagine is the reality for many Indigenous people today. There There brings you on a walk alongside its characters, while sharing the beauty that lies within their resiliency through circumstances none of them deserved. 

You’re going to want to sit with this read.
