I really loved this and am so excited to get into this series from Dixon.

It’s okay. I didn’t hate it, but was largely bored. I don’t think novellas are Ms Dixon’s strong suit. Idk. Maybe it’s me. I needed more story and more burn. And this short a length lacked in both. 

I have read novellas that have done short and sweet well. This just want one of them for me.

The age difference wasn’t “sexy” it was an excuse for the mmc to act like a spoiled child and get what he wanted. The needs of a neglected kingdom were secondary to the sexual desires of the mmc and it wasn’t ever acknowledged as a potentially bad thing that he didn’t care what the fate of 1000s was as long as he got his rocks off
