Disturbing and, in my mind, fairly pointless. (This is in spite of the part of me that hears "serial killers in love" and thinks, "Aww! Cute concept!") However, I am proud to say that I was able to eat an entire burrito while reading it.

What a disappointment. Nothing more than an exploitative, hollow reimagination of a real-life crime, romantisizing the killers and uncomfortably using a real victim to drive the story along. The fetischation of asian people was wholly and utterly disgusting.

I really loved this, but the end - I can't decide how I feel. I enjoyed it though. It's more erotic than many of the other horror books I've been reading lately and I found myself disgusted and enticed.

This book was like NBC Hannibal on PCP. Evil yaoi in the time of AIDS. An alligator eats a dead guy. Highly recommend if you’re a freak!
