A quick and easy read. Nothing fancy- and it was just what i was after on the day- something a bit silly I did not have to think about much.
I remember liking the books a lot more than the True Blood series when I first read them- but now I cringe at the language as well as the sentiments of many of the characters. They have really dated, and not in a good way.
Most interesting thing was learning about what people eat and how they cook for Thanksgiving :)

Poor Roe. For her town to be such a small and awesome little town there sure are a lot of dead people, and all linked to her. This one is her sister in law via her step brother, whom until the last book we did not know too much about, now in this book seems she had quite the life and is now very dead. The usuals show up with some newbies and some then a few that we all know but do not get to have in there very much. I loved the ending but geez, what a cliffhanger. I NEED MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kind of have mixed feelings about this book. There were a few moments I thought were rushed, especially the ending. I don’t know, it just wasn’t my favorite of the series I guess.

This one is one of my favorites of the series. However, as a Southerner, I do think Harris overdoes the "southernisms" and stereotypes....especially for a character as young as Roe. And, is it just me or do the descriptions of her outfits drive anyone else crazy?

Not an awful series but not something I would recommend either. The main character Aurora is practically a different person in this book than she was at the beginning but I don't feel like it's because she's grown and evolved, it's like she was changed to fit each book's storyline.

Another good Aurora Teagarden novel. I somewhat wish that the motive were more exciting, but it was reasonable and the read was entertaining as ever (I really do love the audio narrator) so I can't complain too much!
