it was okay. I really didn't like the new POV in the book. I thought it was a waste of time to be quite honest.

A great conclusion to a great series. I wasn't happy with the way the author finished up with some of the characters (too many died that I liked and I will not get over it).

The main characters matured perfectly, and I enjoyed getting a new perspective on what was happening in Hytanica. Narian was, as always, adorable. And Alera finally grew some balls!

I'm so glad I stuck this series out, even if it didn't work out most of the time. Overall a good read!

Honestly was happy to have Shaselle's point of view and I thought it sad that Saadi had to die.. I think a love interest between a Hytanican and a Cokryian would have been a good twist.
I love London. That's all I have to say about him. ❤
SPOILER ALERT
I cried when Cannan died, in the first two books he was one of my favourites and I was saddened by his loss.
I have to admit I would have liked to see Steldor and Alera work through their marriage and become the perfect King and Queen of Hytanica, especially because Steldor's love for Alera was real, he never wanted to hurt her and although his temper sometimes got the better of him in Allegiance he never physically punished her and I secretly hoped she'd love him back eventually, but lets face it we all knew it would be Alera and Narian.
Overall it was good, wasn't great but it was good. And I have to say I feel like it ended abruptly; like oh look fight, we win, Alera's queen, city starts to rebuild, love is known, end.

I really wished they told more of Alera's story with Narian instead of leaving it open.... oh well it was still good. Although I rather wished Steldor found someone as well. His cousin's story made him sound a lot better than he was is Legacy!

I loved this series so much! Such an emotional rollercoaster! My thoughts of characters were constantly challenged and changed throughout the books! 100% in my favorites!!!! After the second book I have to admit I was rooting for Steldor even until the very end!
