I enjoyed most of the book. But towards the end it just became yet another M/M romance book where one partner forgives the other WAY too easily for some of the things said.
I know it's fiction, but why was everyone suddenly a massive Gabe supporter and basically made Dylan out to be the bad guy for cutting ties. Absolutely he should of, and Gabe needs to grow up and be less toxic.

I enjoyed it until about 70% in then it just frustrated me and I power read the rest to get it done

Downloaded the other two in the series, but will probably put them on a back burner now unfortunately.

This book took me on a journey. For the first, I don't know, third, I was torn between toughing it out for Dylan and hating Gabe so much that I wanted to stop reading. Then it got emotional and I waited for the other shoe to drop. Then the shoe dropped. I'm kind of annoyed about the event that kickstarted the resolution process. I get it, I do. But my poor hopeless romantic heart doesn't like how it happened. Anyway, the end was worth...mostly. I do enjoy Lily Morton's writing so perhaps I'll give the rest of the series a go. It's possible I just need a break from stories where the love interest has more partners than sense.
