Devoured in one day, a quick read that’s anything but easy. Blood, gore, violence to an epic degree, but with the charm of 70s and 80s over-the-top punk horror. I look forward to any further additions David adds to this world.

There are trigger warnings for "sex" and "violence" at the beginning of the book but there are actually so many more...
Extreme horror, torture, gore, sexual assault, rape etc.
This is absolutely not for the faint of heart.

I've enjoyed other Sodergren books but this one was not it. I felt like there was no substance in the story and the other characters weren't interesting. The villains and their character building (if there's any) are underwhelming. Yes, they keep repeating that they worship Satan and that they are fully devoted to them/it but that's it.
I guess Angel
could be counted as a good final girl
but that was not enough for me.
