Ending isn't bad just some plot wonkiness

Well so the afterwards gives you a glimpse into the future but that doesn't exactly jive with how the other books explain how new dragons happen. In the other books it said that the dragons ruled for 30 years and then had a daughter and then when she was twenty she took over. But that isn't how this book shows it so either it was explained incorrectly before or there's some errors here. I also feel the ending just, while the overall wrap up is what I expected I just don't feel it was satisfying enough for all the lead up to it

It was a cute series. Easy read, the epilogues were great to have. This one felt a bit more rushed than the others in the series and it is very fast paced in general. I wish the books were longer, but it was a fun escape regardless
fast-paced

It was a bit overly simplistic, and wrapped up neatly (and quickly) with a bow. And I'm still baffled at how Kira degenerated into a weirdly naive YA heroine. But it was a fast read and it was enjoyable. *shrug*

I have enjoyed this series so much and RIDE THE WAVE was a fantastic end for Kira, Jasin, Auric, Slade, and Reven's journey. They've come so far and fought so hard and I was happy with their ending as they finally confront the Black Dragon and her mates. While this book includes Kira bonding with Reven, it's not the focus. We've already seen Reven falling for Kira through the other books and after the ending of SHAKE THE EARTH Reven had already confronted his real feelings for Kira. Instead, this one is focused more on the build-up to the battle against the Dragons and I enjoyed seeing all the different factions come together.

It was also nice to see all of Kira's mates finding friendship in each other and recognizing that they're all a family now. And of course, I was happy to finally have a sexy scene of Kira with all her men. As a bonus I loved the multiple epilogues, one each for Jasin, Auric, Slade, and Reven that shows readers how everyone has been in the years following the battle. I won't say much else because I don't want to spoil anything, but I really enjoyed this one.

As Slade said, we were a family, bound to each other, heart and soul, our destinies entwined from our first breaths to the day we would leave this world.
