Ride the Wave Review

Although I am sad to see this story come to a close, it has been an awesome adventure with Kira, Reven, Auric, Slade, and Jasin throughout their journey together. I selfishly wish there was more though after reading the last paragraph.

Bonus star for Brin and Leni getting married.

Meh.

This was my favorite one in the series by far. I will say that I wanted more relationship development, BUT! The spice, the build up, the reveals, all of it, a lot was going on, and while I did want more of the main H/h for this one, it was still a solid 5 stars for me. I couldn't stop reading even though it was the middle of the night.

that stated, I did want one or two more spice scenes, but understood for size that we can only get so much.

Ride the Wave is the action-packed conclusion to the main story line in the Her Elemental Dragons series, and it's the best of the four hands down. Kira bonds with her final dragon, and the whole group has time for some sexy team bonding before the big finale. Kira learns the identity of her mystery dad, and everyone is growing in their powers. However, when it seems that the original dragons and the gods might both be lying to them, the team has to forge their own path, using their past friendships and alliances to build an army to defeat the homicidal dragons.

This book has the best action, sex, and romance in the entire series. There's more character development, as well, and the whole novel feels much more balanced. I think that readers who have stuck with the series for this long will be satisfied by the conclusion.

The best book of the series. Finally the action seemed to fit the length. Wasn't great, just meh.

I read this in one night if that tells you how good this series is. I was happy to see this ending and I'm glad we got to see how it all worked out. So much action! I also liked at the end that they did different amount of years in the future.

DID NOT FINISH: 5%

I read this just for the smut and none of it was satisfying. I'm not sure how to explain but mygod there was no build-up at all and the writing of the sex itself was so dull because of the plain and vague descriptions. For example, whenever an orgasm occurs, the writing just completely skips over it after mentioning that it happened then moves on to the next moves/scenes. Unlike the title, there was no orgasmic wave to ride.

0/10 won't recommend. Even if you read this for the plot, I don't think it'll be that good either because the writing feeels like a narrative report.

Bland characters, bland writing, bland sex.
