Great book over all , the plot twist was definitely unexpected, loved the characters and will be reading the following books . This book in particular was definitely an easy read due to the authors interesting writing style. However my reasoning for 4 stars was the predictability of the minor incidents that occurred
eg, the villains gifts or dying the hair red
(justice for Sloane) lol

I loved this book because its all my favourite things about science and psychology into the one book with fun teenagers. I am very excited to read the second one.

This was an intriguing read based on the premise (YA criminal minds) and lives up to that. It was a bit more gory/intense than I anticipated but it’s to be expected when serial killers are involved. This was a quick read because there’s almost no depth to these characters. Cassie is just a girl whose defining features include her mother dying five years ago and that she is naturally good at profiling people. She felt very bland and while the other characters are more interesting, it’s not by much. The quality of the writing is mediocre. I appreciated the twist at the end though I saw it coming right before the reveal. This book is unique enough and I enjoyed this book enough that I will continue the series, though I will just be borrowing from the library.

This did not slap like it did when I was 13 😅 The love triangle really did not need to be there. This is on the very young side of YA and you can tell that this is her first published book. However I still think the twist was neat and I will be reading the next book.

I really enjoyed this read. YA criminal minds with more leading women. I didn't expect the twist until very close to the end. I liked Cassie and all the other characters. I really liked the "YOU" chapters and by liked I mean it totally creeped me out. Tropes: Love Triangle, Found Family, Protective and Intelligent Love Interests, Main Characters are all smart including the girls (thank you god).

This was a fun, gripping and easy read. I loved the Criminal Minds vibes. If anything can get my out of my reading slump it's this trilogy.
I really do hope that Cassie and Dean are endgame in the end. I just love them together.
