Fascinating, but frustrating - there's little to no critical analysis of each case, which leads to a feeling more like blind optimism than scientific understanding

To be honest, I have borrowed his "sled" metaphor and use it often with my patients. A really interesting book on brain plasticity.

Quite a hard book to read/sustain attention with but has really interesting stories and lots to learn in there. A good book, just found it a bit of a harder read as I’m not great with non-fiction.

I found this book to be very enjoyable and easy to read. It's all about brain plasticity, brain recovery stories and those scientists working on neuroplasticity.

Never underestimate your brain power!
