I loved this book very very much. At times it felt a little confusing, so I took off 0.25 stars, but I loved it anyway. Seeing a chronically ill protagonist fight through the ableism in the world AND her own internalized ableism was just fantastic to witness. The afterword made me cry and inspired me to work on my own fiction and dream about my own disabled protagonist. I'm grateful for this book.

The best thing about this book is Tania finding her place at the Order and making friends with the other three girls there. Thea, Aria, and Portia were all good supporting characters and truly cared for one another and helped Tania see that there are people who will look past her disability.

Let's also not forget about sweet Henri. Henri who has no experience in any kind of fighting but is able to help and make a difference to the Order through his skills and knowledge. I enjoyed the scenes with him and Tania in the same room. I wish there was more romance and of him in the story.

I do feel that some elements where a bit repetitive. For example, when Tania brought up her father. She always had to visualize how he must've looked on the night of his death. I understand her father was very important to her but a simple thought of her him would have done just the same rather than go into detail his last moments.

What a fun reimagining of the Three Musketeers.  I also learned about POTS.  I enjoyed being with Tania as she learns that people are capable of being her friend and like family and truly caring for her.

Takes a little to get into the excitement but picks up at the end.
I was just personally struggling to finish the book.

'One for All' was one of my biggest anticipated reads of 2022 so when it FINALLY got a UK publisher, I was mega excited. A genderbent three musketeers? You are certainly coming home with me. I truly did enjoy this read, it was fun with lots of twists and knowledge woven in beautifully. But it receives a 4 because I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would - but that is fully my fault because I did overhype the book to myself.

I cannot fault or insult any part of this book, it was a joy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested.
