Learn about the life, crimes, and how the I-5 killer was caught and tried for his crime in this classic true crime book.
This book was pretty good, but I wish there were an update after the 1980s. Also, the writing could be a bit dry in spots. I wish she'd given more personality to police officers and victims. She spent a lot more time talking about some of the victims than others. I felt like the mother and daughter who died should have gotten more time in the book.
An overall decent true crime book. But a bit scant on details of the lives of certain victims without explanation.

Ann Rule is fantastic again. She provides a very well thought out outline of The I5 Killers life and his horrendous crimes. I’ve read a lot of true crime books but I should warn that this one had me cringing even more regularly by the descriptions of his crimes. I’m still in disbelief how there’s people out there that can do these things to people let alone innocent women.
