Really fun romance. Loved that the couple was a bit older and dealing with adult issues and still enjoying hobbies that tend to be associated with younger folks. The discussions of family and sexuality were handled very well and I love how modern romance handles these now!

a lot less cringe than i was expecting. i am a fellow nerd, so please no one take offense to this LOL. there were some silly things, such as them not voice chatting while they played games, but overall i thought the dialogue and storytelling flowed really well.

in sooo many books the protagonist doesn't just SAY HOW THEY FEEL and they drag it out a ton, it's very annoying. that is not the case in this book - i assume it has something to do with the fact that they're both ~50 yrs old. i was both surprised and very happy with that choice!

didn't expect aiden's storyline, and thought it was cool and refreshing.

This was such a heart-warming and unique book. I absolutely gobbled it up. How refreshing to read a romance with MCs in their late 40s/early 50s and queer rep. Highly recommend this sweet, geeky book!

A delightful romance with middle-aged characters that find love through shared nerdy interests as well as with unwavering support through personal struggles. I suspect when I added this book to my TBR before it's release I was aware there was ace-spec representation, but I had forgotten and was absolutely delighted to find not only biracial (Vietnamese and white) but also demisexual rep.

Cute! I love that this book encourages the main characters to let go of toxic relationships in their lives including family members while also embracing those who have your back and accept you for who you are.
