I was counting down the days until I could return to SPC! One thing I love about the Age Gap trope is that usually the older man is just so dang sweet and let me tell you, Ronan is no exception.

I kind of expected to not be into the large gap (hello 35 years!), but as usual Sara wrote it so well. I ended up rooting for the couple throughout the book. And Paris? I’m always down for a fictional or real-life visit to the city of love.

“The number of years a person has lived seems like such a trivial detail when you find someone who lights a spark in your soul and makes life worth living again.”

Read if you like:

There's nothing really wrong with this book, I just didn't enjoy it. Probably because I went in with different expectations but that's fine. There was a bit of spice and it was also pretty deep and emotional in parts. Just not for me.
