Always nice to dive back into a Greg Gifune novel, knowing I’m gonna once again, be immersed in some of the finest horror writing out there. This one was no exception. As usual, well rounded characters, horrifying moments, and another fantastic ending. I only have a few unread Gifune novels still lying around, and I can honestly say, everything he has written has been an absolute treasure.

Picked up this after enjoying ‘the rain dancers’ and probably expected too much. ‘Rogue’ is a story about reality unraveling as Cam Horne’s perfect life starts to fall apart. Interesting enough and comes together with the twist at the end, but just two many ‘you must have dreamed it' type events for it to keep me fully transfixed.

By the time I got close to a third of the way through, I couldn't stop listening. I liked that I wasn't positive what was actually going on for quite a while, and that the main character felt like he could be an actual person. The writing was good and kept me engaged. 5-stars.
