Can Jennifer be any more perfect as a writer? I'm not entirely sure my heart can handle anymore perfect book boyfriends from her but I'll gladly take them all. Add Brock to that list too because my, oh my, he's yummy. This entire series is one of my favourites and now I'm kinda as I've read them all but now I get to reread and fall in love all over.

I was so excited for Jillian's story and it didn't disappoint. I loved her and the chemistry she and Brock had. I thought she was a spitfire and I tea later to her on so many levels. I loved the banter between her and Brock as well as the softer sides. And of course, the steamy moments were also pretty great. I loved the cameos made by the other characters, keeping me one happy bug snug in a rug.

I loved the push and pull that the plot gave, showing the internal conflict that Jillian had when dealing Brock, given their history. I mean what girl wouldn't dream of her childhood crush suddenly being back in her life and giving her all sorts of attention? But there was something else about how they just managed to work together so effortlessly that made me want to root for them. Also the nickname Jillybean was too cute. Ugh I just love this series so much.

3.5 for this book.

It was good but I prefer men falling in love first. :( Cam and Avery supremacy.

This series can be read as stand alones, as each book showcases one couple. This one is not my favorite, cause they really don't much of appearance in the other books ( or I just dont remember them)

Brock is the world famous fighter, who has retired from the ring. Jillian is the daughter of the man who owns the academy that Brock represents. Jillian has had a crush on Brock for many many years. He only sees her as an annoying sister. She has plans to change this, but rejection and tragedy destroys all that. Years later, she decides to embrace the family business and join the team . Much to her surprise Brock is who she reports too.

It was nice seeing how this all plays out, but at times sees more forced than natural. We get closure but just glimpses of the lives they have created.

Somewhere between a 3.75/4.25 stars because I'm indecisive about this book!

Side note, but these cheesy covers do not do these books justice in my eyes!

Anyways, if I had to create a ranking of my favorite books in this series it would go like this:
1. Jax/Calla
2. Nick/Steph & Reece/Roxy (because I can't choose)
4. Jase/Tess
5. Brock/Jillian
6. Cam/Avery

Wait for You was one of the first NA romance books I read (it was four dollars on Barnes & Noble AND SIGNED, how could I have passed that up? I'm so glad I didn't!), and I remember devouring Cam/Avery's college romance story, but one of my favorite aspects about this series is how with each book, the story becomes a little more mature. Avery and Tess's stories take place in college, and with Calla's story there is a transition to a more realistic romance outside of college, and then the latter half of the series all take places when the characters are in their mid/late twenties. I actually preferred the latter half of this series because they felt more real? I don't know if that's the word I want to use for this context, but maybe they were more mature, and I enjoyed the characters more because they were different.

I honestly want more of Roxy/Reece, especially after how things ended with them in Fire in You,ah I wish J.Lynn would write a little short story about how Roxy told Reece about a certain something. They're the most eccentric couple out of the group, and I really just don't want this series to end!

Now onto talking about this book. My main issue: I felt like it was rushed. This book is 378 pages, but I could use another 50 if it meant more development into Brock/Jillian's relationship. The ending just ended on the climax, and the resolution was really jumbled and unclear. Seriously, if there was another book, maybe I'd let it slide, but this is the last book in a series I've cherished, J.Lynn, YOU CAN'T END THIS SERIES UNRESOLVED, PLEASE WRITE A NOVELLA!

Secondly, I understand that Jillian didn't want to delve into the past anymore, but her flashbacks just stopped completely, and I needed more insight into what happened after the attack. There was a lot of talk about it, but I wish we could've seen those events like we saw how the night built up to the attack. I don't know, maybe that's a personal issue, and others can see past that.

With the previous books, there seemed to be a plot, or some kind of mystery/conflict, (SPOILERS FOR PREVIOUS BOOKS! I.e. the suicide of Tess's roommate, the creeper who eventually shot Calla, the murderer in Roxy's apartment complex, Steph getting pregnant after a one-night-stand) there just wasn't that excitement with this book, it was all focused on Brock and how much Jillian was in love with him. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this book to an extent, but so many things were left up in the air!

I definitely believe that you should read this book if you've been reading this entire series thus far, it's enjoyable like any other book in this series, I'm just sad that this series is over! I already miss Jax and Reece and Calla and Roxy *cries*

Ok getting to this book is bittersweet, I just had to do a series re-read because well I love this series.
And it has been utterly wonderful getting to experience these old friends again.

Finding out this book was about Brock I was like yay!
Even if I am still holding out hope, for a Katie (the striper/physic) book one day.

I went to it as blind as I could, and I loved it. Jillian and Brock are amazing. And yes it is a little weird having a heroine named Jillian, and the same nickname I call my own daughter. But once I separated that from this book it was just awesome.

Pasts collide, and hearts are broken. But they heal and so does the past. This book really was about your inner strength and what you are capable of. I loved how Jillian fights to pick up and have a life after her past; she was kind of living in limbo for a long time.

Brock seems to have grown up from where he once was and I think he came to terms with things long before coming back into Jillian’s life. Sure he wasn't 100% there because I think we were looking for Jillian’s, not approval but maybe a little of her forgiveness. And once he feels he had that he was all in.

I loved Rhage! I mean really he is totally one of my favorite Brotherhood Brothers and for the cat to totally be called Rhage. Love, Love, Loved. Also being that I am a total cat person, and I talk to my cats like they will talk back I love that Jillian does this a lot in the book too.

I was a little leery of a new narrator after listening to Dreaming of You, and not liking that audio. I thought maybe this was going to be like that because I was used to Sophie Eastlake’s narration of this series.
But I am so, so happy to report that Erin Bennett hits a home run. At least for me, she does. She can do the male narration effortlessly; I love all the voices she did for the rest of the female characters when they were in the same scenes. I recommend this audio!
Well worth the credit.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I would have liked a little more grovel from him. Like, after 6 years, she starts to move on with her life, and all of a sudden he gets his head out of his ass and goes after her? Lame.

*3.5-4 stars*

I liked this book slightly more then Fall with Me but it wasn't as good as the other books in this series. While I liked that character development of Jillian, I felt that this book was lacking something. Maybe it could be that out of all of the other books this one didn't have a lot going on and there wasn't as much drama. It could also be that I felt like we didn't get to know Brock as well as any of the other male leads in the other books. Or it could have been that the ending felt very rushed and didn't give much resolution. While yes Jillian did resolve her problems but I still felt like other things could have been resolved better. I also felt like this book was a mix of Wait for You, Be with Me and Fall with Me with its own added things. So to me this one felt, I guess, less original than the other books. Honestly I think a book about Katie would have been much better and a lot of fun. With that said I did like somethings about it, like the character development. I loved seeing all the other characters from the rest of the series too. But even with those things this installment was very much lacking for me and probably could have been a lot better.
