Laura Burton's "Love Me, Dreamy" is one of a kind and I am so happy that I requested a free review copy of this book via the author from VoraciousReadersOnly. The initial chapters can be compared to a blanket of thick fog but as you turn the pages, there is a light so bright that you will be left with a strong sense of satisfaction. If you are a nature lover, this will be love at first read as Laura artfully describes the beauty and uniqueness of both Cotswolds and San Diego. When Bath was described, I truly felt my Austenland come alive! The plot and the layering of this book is so engaging that I struggled to put my Kindle down. The connection between Toby and Amelia is so unique and magical and the book really captures their individual essence. There is a range of emotions that accompany this book and the parallels between reality and fantasy is a beautiful balance. I am keen to look at Laura's Love Me Series.

Love Me, Dreamy is the first book I have read by Laura Burton. I didn't pay attention to the fact that it was part of a series, it just sounded interesting. It is the 3rd book of the Love Me series, but can be read as a stand alone novel. I don't normally read paranormal, but I liked YA and the book sounded interesting. It was a normal story of two people meeting and having an instant attraction. About halfway through, things started to get weird. At first I was really confused, but as the story wrapped up, it cleared, and I really enjoyed it overall. So if you are reading, and get to that point, KEEP GOING! I promise, it's worth finishing.
The story is about Amelia and Toby, two people who meet by chance in a park one day. They hit it off, and decided to hang out. Soon after, things start to get weird, as they are followed by men in black suits. They seem to show up everywhere, at first watching, then chasing?? Can that be right? Amelia decides to take a risk and follow Toby, because she has an electric attraction to him. But before long, she discovers Toby is hiding things from her. Things are making sense, but Toby promises he will explain everything, later. She decides to trust him, and literally puts her life in his hands.
I won't say anything more, because I don't want to ruin the surprise. But I recommend this book, and plan to check out the first 2 in the series.

Love Me, Dreamy: A YA Paranormal Romance with Breathtaking Twists by Laura Burton is the third book in the Love Me series. Good news though, this is a standalone book and you will not be lost or bored because you did not read the first two books in the series. Amelia and Toby meet by chance and they have an instant attraction. Unfortunately, there are some men who are after Toby. Will Amelia trust Toby enough to follow his lead?
I enjoyed this book a lot. The writing is solid and the story is interesting. I also liked that this is meant for a YA audience and isn't filled with sex or extreme violence. The story is intriguing and has some twists and turns. Also, I enjoyed the young couple. They are fun to read and actually left me wanting more of their story. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I have once again found a new author that has not let me down. This book was quite a unique read. I found that the author's plot and story line quite refreshing. I really enjoyed this book from the first to the last page.

I found the characters Amelia and Toby to be quite interesting. I found that the story line really was unique and I like how the author spun the tale. The way that the two characters come together was so creative. I also like how the author adds just the right amount of drama into the mix along with romance. This was such a creative and refreshing read. I will certainly be reading more from this author in future.

This really was a wonderful read. The authors’ writing was truly amazing and it really was an absolute pleasure to read. The passion and love flowed from the pages and the author’s attention to detail really made the characters and their story come alive. There was an amazing and much unexpected twist in the story that I loved! It made this story even more memorable of a read. I love Amelia and Toby – they really were fantastic, well thought out characters and I was completely captivated by their story. I loved trying to guess just what was going to happen in the story and it was a very unpredictable plot.
I haven’t read anything by this author previously but I absolutely cannot wait to pick up another of her books again in the future. YA (and other readers alike) will find themselves captivated by the author writing and I highly recommend Love Me, Dreamy!

So....this book..was difficult to like for the first half. I got frustrated at Toby. Always evading answers and he just seemed too happy. That frustrated and confused me. I struggled because the scenes flitted from one to the other and again...Toby is acting weird. I wonder if this could have been a little written differently to make it more palatable to the reader. But if surprise, wonder, confusion and suspense is what the author is going for...nailed it! So along comes the second half and i was pleasantly surprised and shocked a bit. This easily kept my interest and i wanted to know more about what was happening This half gave me what I was missing...answers.

This is a first time author for me. I struggled with the first half because i felt it was jumbled and that frustrated me. The second half outshined the first. I never suspected a thing even though I was racking my brain trying to figure it all out. The characters were done very well. I enjoyed them and their time together. Overall it’s a nice story.

Even before I start my review, I want to express how great it was at the end of the blurb for the book there is the following note: “Note: No sex, swearing, HEA No animals are harmed in this book. As a parent of teenage daughters, I appreciated this note. I wish more YA authors would follow this example. Now that I have said that, I love this book. Love Me, Dreamy by Laura Burton is a paranormal romance. The story was engaging. I felt the need to keep turning the pages to find out what was the mystery around Toby and Amelia. Toby knows something and he cannot tell Amelia for fear of losing her. There are hurdles that Amelia goes through and by doing this could mean that Amelia will be unraveling. This story has secrets, chances, and a leap of faith. What will Toby and Amelia’s future holds for them? Will the mysteries be revealed? You will have read the story to find out.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It is a creative, engaging story that is full of mystery, suspense and romance. I was pulled into this story right from the beginning and even had me sitting on the edge of my seat a few times. Ameila and Toby meet on a chance. Their chemistry grows with each date but are they being followed? Secrets, chances and a leap of faith could be Ameila’s undoing. I highly recommend their story to find out what happens with them, they will keep you guessing.

I tend to read books that sound interesting based on the synopsis offered to entice the reader and Love Me, Dreamy by Laura Burton sounded intriguing. I must admit at the beginning of the book I was a little lost, for me it was not making a lot of sense. My initial thought was where is she going with this story of Toby and Amelia. The more I got into the story, although I was still confused, I was also intrigued. I wanted to complete the journey and find out where the author was taking me. I was not disappointed. Love Me, Dreamy kept my attention and the ending was a surprise. I will definitely look for more books by this author in the future

Love Me Dreamy is the latest instalment in the Love Me series by Laura Burton. This is my first read from Ms. Burton, so apart from the intriguing blurb, I wasn’t entirely sure of what to expect I’d find when I embarked on this mysterious adventure. What a great surprise this book turned out to be- in a really great way! I had thought the story sounded sweet, light, and interesting- and I decided it would make a great ‘palate cleanser’ after a string of darker reads- but what I got was so much more.
This turned out to be an enthralling paranormal romance with a wonderful fantasy component, and some sci-fi elements. Ms. Burton has woven a wonderful tale that held all my attention from the beginning, right till the very end. I read it in one sitting and loved every word! I am so happy to find that there are two other books in the series for me to sink my teeth into!
This story may not be all that long, but Ms. Burton packs a lot into this polished package. There is an adventure, action, danger, mystery, suspense, intrigue, tension, emotion, wonderful world building, and so much more for us to appreciate. The story is very thought provoking, and I kept trying to piece everything together and figure out exactly what was happening- I had several scenarios running through my mind- but wasn’t entirely sure until towards the end. One of my scenarios turned out to be correct, which surprised me- because it could have gone in so many different directions. I really enjoyed the whole process- the plot, the characters, Ms. Burton’s easy flowing and dynamic style, and following along intently to find out one of my ideas was actually right. The story really was so cleverly constructed that I couldn’t be sure about anything, so I was clutching at straws and looking for any clues- guessing all the while with several possibilities. I was completely wrapped up in what was happening and desperately needed to know how things would play out.
Amelia and Toby are really wonderful characters, and I really loved meeting them and cheering them on from the sidelines. These two were perfect for each other- and the ending was the perfect way to finish this touching story. I am not going to get into the story here, because I really don’t want to give anything away- the surprising twist is worth discovering for yourself.
This is a sweet, clean, surprising, intriguing, and well written story that all fantasy/paranormal, and romance readers should have on their TBR.
I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Burton’s work in the near future! She’s an author whose work I won’t soon be forgetting.

Thank you, Ms. Burton!
