Happy to say, I found another story that is just curing this fourth wing hangover for me. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to start another fantasy series but I’ve had this on my TBR for the longest time and I finally decided to start it. An oh my gosh I have not been able to stop! It’s very good.

I will say the beginning was a little slow. And I was also trying to get the imagery down because I wasn’t sure what time period this was. Was it taking place in a today Italy or a very, very very old Italy or a completely different type of Italy. However, my imagination just came up with its own thing.

I’m 100% team wrath. He literally is the ideal mystery, grump prince of Hell villain that you want to be on your side in someway. I am excited to see what happens in the next few books with Wrath and learning more about his story and how he and Emilia both fit together with each other and I’m just excited. I highly recommend!

This book was very interesting and kept me on my toes! Good plot, however I disliked that it didn’t build up the anticipation for the climax or big points! It was basically hard to figure out or identify what was actually going to happen, until it happened.

So at first I wasn't sure because of the hype behind the book, 3 chapters later I am GLUED to the book, I look at the clock and see it's only 9pm I can read a while longer then what felt like 20mins later i look again and its 3am! (Ooopsies!) Such a good read that keeps you guessing!

This book blew me away. I had heard good things, but I really couldn't put this book down. It checks all my boxes. It's a dark romance, slow burn, revenge story, Princes of hell who are over powered, witches that don't know their own strength, and set in a foreign country. In addition to all of that the descriptions of food were absolutely mouth watering. I'm so excited for the rest of the series.
