First, if you've read Nana Malone's duets, then you know not to expect part one to end with sunshine and roses. Instead, plan on being on the edge of your seat, anxiously tapping your foot in anticipation of whatever comes next. Now you have an inkling of what this first in the See No Evil trilogy did to me. And I loved every single minute of it. The story is full of intrigue - secret societies, information on flash drives, seconds from getting caught, one dangerous situation after another type of intrigue. Of course, intrigue only really works with the right characters, and Nana Malone has packed this one to the gills with terrific characters, both good and bad. After all, what would the good guys do without some baddies to keep them busy? In this case, I can think of a lot of things. Ben and Olivia have some major chemistry and there's more sexual tension than you can shake a stick at. I loved the build-up between these two, and while Olivia is no damsel in distress, she does have some things to work through. Helpless damsel or not, I can't imagine being too upset by being rescued by Ben Covington, especially with a voice like Shane East breathes into him. Seriously, this guy has a voice like butter. Plus we have Mari as Olivia, and the two together work perfectly. As far as I'm concerned, what we hear in this audio is Ben and Olivia, and from silly situations, witty banter, dangerous run-ins, and holy moly hotness, this is one impossible to put down, or in this case impossible to pause story.

Big Ben had me captivated from the moment I started the book. From the funny banter between the characters to the more serious notes as well.

This book features Ben and Olivia (Livy). They meet in a closet when they are both hiding out from people. Ben is trying to get something important and has to hide it in Olivia's purse. As he tries to get it back he realizes she works for him.

They work together and Ben offers Olivia a better job to get his item he gave her back. He realizes he has feelings for her, and Olivia likes him too even though she has a boyfriend.

Ben protects Olivia trough some stuff and they become friends. I was rooting for these two, because I didn't like Olivia's boyfriend.

I really liked this book, but it ended on a cliffhanger, and now I have to wait to see what happens next!

Ben Covington was James Bond-ish

First of all, this book felt like watching a 007 movie which the opening scene being tantalizing.
Heroine and Hero somehow finding themselves hidden in a closet at a party, these strangers were trying not get caught snooping at someone’s house.

Meet
Olivia 'Livy' Ashong, daughter is a Ghanaian diplomat and Ben Covington, wealthy businessman who is part of a secret society, the London Lords.
Livy was trying to find her footing after the loss of her mother and Ben was trying to avenge the death of his friend Toby. This book is full of mystery, suspense, adventure, hit sex, billionaire hotties etc

The writing was entertaining and definitely a quick read. This does end on a cliff hanger...so book 2 is a must.

This was the first book I’ve ready by this author and I loved it! Ben sounded yummy from the start and I loved Olivia’s character!

There’s so much to unpack in this story. There’s mystery, danger, shitty boyfriends, amazing friends, and banter that’s basically foreplay!

It did end on a cliffhanger so be ready!

This new trilogy started in a great way, Olivia and Ben's story is fantastic, love the mystery, how the story is developing and I am definitely intrigued, and can't wait for more. Nana Malone just keeps getting better and better and having me on edge and waiting for her next book. A must-read!

I just love reading books from authors that are new to me! I am so glad I decided to pick up the ARC for The Benefactor which is book two in the See No Evil Trilogy. Nana Malone is a fantastic writer. I said this once and I’ll say it a million times, but when an author’s writing vividly comes to the picture in my head, I know I am reading something good! This is what this book helped me do.

This book is written so well. I felt all the things that Ben and Livy felt. Ben and Livy are such a great duo. Ben is a drop dead gorgeous and sinful man. He’s my favorite type of alpha. Tall, arrogant, charming, smart and has a beautiful accent. Talk about perfect. As for Olivia (Livy) she is such a sweet, inquisitive, smart woman. I loved her and I could really connect with her. They have such great energy. I loved the back and forth between the two. They knew that they should give into the sexual tension throughout the book.

There is so much that happened in this book and I am so excited to dive into The Benefactor. If you are looking for a suspenseful, twisty, secret society read this book is for you. With a little bit of danger and a little bit of steam this is the perfect stick to your chair and don't move until you're finished kind of read!
