This is a mini biography of several famous Native Indians in our past. Each person gets a page illustration and a page of story about their life. It is enough so you can look up more about their lives. We start off with Squanto and move up through history to currently we have Sherman Alexie. I knew of Squanto and Sacajawea from history. I have read Sherman’s book which was excellent.
This is a longer book. It is non-fiction and you can imagine that the nephew isn’t yet into non-fiction. He was wiggly and squirmy and wanted another story. He gave this 1 grumbling star. The niece didn’t connect with this story either. She gave this 2 stars.
