This was a good entry in the series and moved things forward in good ways. I feel the action was somehow not mixed as well with the emotional side of the story, though, so it feels like it could have been better somehow.

In my second reread since I was a ten year old, I've really grown to love Marco and his character development. I adored this book. It really brought the drama when Marco had to stop his friends from killing his mother. The interaction between Marco and his mother was chilling.

I don't have much to say about this one. It was good; Marco's conflict about his mother being Visser One is some of the most interesting parts of Animorphs. This cover in particular gives me mega nostalgia. Love the colors, think it's one of my favs. A kid turning into a shark will never not be cool.
